Android Developer
The day to day functions of this role include:
- Development using the Android SDK and Java
- Working with Android technologies such as Robospice, Otto and Gradle
Essential skills
- A relevant Degree/Diploma in Computer Science
- Android development (1+ years experience)
- Strong knowledge of Java, MVC/OOP principles and knowledge on modern UI patterns
- Familiarity with building fast and responsive user experiences
- Excellent problem solving and communication skills (fluent English, verbal & written)
- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision and learn new technologies quickly
- Ability to work within deadlines individually and as a team
- Ability to understand the importance of customer service
- Innovative and forward thinking
Preferred experience
- iOS development
- Mobile web development
- Experience with lightweight/agile development
- Experience with TDD/BDD
