Executive – Raw Material & Finished Goods Warehouse (Biyagama)  

Purpose of the Job

As Executive – Raw Material & Finished Goods Warehouse, you are required manage the overall day to day operations relating to Raw Material and Finished Goods Warehouse in order to ensure that all requirements are fulfilled in a timely manner so as to facilitate the production process whilst focusing on the timely dispatch of finished goods as per stipulated customer standards and timelines.

Your duties include;

• Coordinate with production teams the  requirements of production and instruct staff for issuing in order to ensure that items are issued in accordance to the specifications to start production on time
• Ensure accuracy of stocks and location system / inform relevant parties of any excess / redundant / slow moving material status in order to better inventory / space management
• Monitor the material returns and reprocessing procedure with outsourcing, Logistics in order to support the smooth functioning of the production process
• Ensure all packed cartons are verified as per the customer requirements & commercial details, documented and checked by the security prior to dispatch in order to fulfill delivery requirements

Qualifications and Experience

• Degree in Logistics, Warehouse Management or  Sourcing & Supply Chain Management streams with minimum 01 year experience in a similar capacity

OR

• Diploma in Logistics, Warehouse Management or  Sourcing & Supply Chain Management streams with 02 to 03 years’ experience in a similar capacity
