INVENTORY CONTROLLER

 
Job Description 

• Develop and implement improvements to existing operational procedures in order to maximize efficiency and cut operational costs 

• Coordinating the logistics of purchase orders, stock transfers, deliveries, tagging and processing 

• Receive orders and record them in a timely and accurate manner 

• Forecasting supply and demand requirements to ensure stock availability 

• Perform stock counts and ensure all inventory is accounted for and reported according to company policy 

• Review documentation and monitor product codes to search for discrepancies; troubleshoot quantity discrepancies between stocks and records 

• Maintaining and updating records of purchase orders, goods receipts and inventory records. 

• Prepare, generate, and file financial inventory reports; review reports monthly with management 

• File claims when defective products are discovered

 
Person Specification

• Similar work exposure in a similar organization is a definite advantage 

• Educational qualifications related to inventory management 

• Attention to detail, Integrity and Team work
