Mackinnons Travels (Pvt.) Limited was established in 1971 and gained International Air Transport Association (IATA) status in 1976. Mackinnons Travels Limited is also a partner company with American Express Travel since 1974. The company is a subsidiary of one of the largest conglomerates in Sri Lanka, the John Keells Group. MTL provides its customers with outbound travel related services which includes issuing of air tickets, hotel reservations, holiday packages, assistance in visa formalities to name a few.
We invite applications from suitably qualified individuals, for the position of Outbound Travel Executive, based at Dharmapala Mawatha, Colombo 7.
The Outbound Travel Executive will be responsible for handling holiday packages/ hotel room nights and meeting individual set targets/ goals.
The ideal candidate should posses a qualification in IATA or Airline fares and ticketing; knowledge in effective use of a Central Reservation System (Amadeus preferred), construction of tour packages, preparation of tour itineraries, issuance of air tickets, geography, minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a related field, effective written and verbal communication skills in English and the ability to cope with the pressures of handling customer needs.
Remuneration for the above position will be in accordance with the JKH Compensation and Benefits Policy.
