We are Calcey Technologies, a privately held boutique professional services firm delivering a comprehensive set of online services including Web & Mobile Solutions, Multimedia Services, Software Quality Assurance, and Knowledge Services for enterprises worldwide. We are looking for a Systems Administrator to get on board and manage our corporate network and support services, under the guidance of our Senior Management. We want someone who can hit the ground running, with a great service-oriented mentality. Responsibilities: This is a hands-on role to help manage our servers and provide input into the overall architecture for our infrastructure and operations. The Sys Admin will be responsible for supporting and maintaining the server and networking infrastructure in our office and data center as well as the deployment and troubleshooting of diverse software.
Essential Skills and Experience
·2+ years experience as a Systems Administrator or Systems Engineer who loves getting his or her hands dirty
·Excellent knowledge of Networking (in-depth practical knowledge is more important than certifications)
·Linux/Unix and Windows administration experience
·Understanding of security concepts, attack mitigation methods, and industry best practices
·Excellent oral and written communication skills with a proven ability to effectively interact with all levels of employees
·Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure in a fast-paced on-time delivery environment
·Participate in a rotating 24/7 on-call support schedule
