Systems Engineer

Essential:

• Degree or diploma in IT.
• Hands-on experience in Red Hat or Centos Linux administration.
• Good understanding of TCP/IP networking and related protocols.
• Enterprise infrastructure/application exposure or knowledge (Cisco, Oracle, Jboss, Tomcat etc.)
• Systems and applications monitoring (Nagios, Zenoss, Zabbix).
• Bash or Python scripting.
• Strong work ethics.

Beneficial:

• Good knowledge of Puppet.
• Certification within an applicable technical area, i.e., Microsoft, Cisco or Linux.
• Project management skills.
• Knowledge on server virtualization and cloud environments. 
• Knowledge on Web/TCP load balancing.
