Position Vacant: Transport Manager (Planning, Procurement & Maintenance) Location: Colombo

Requirements:

•             GCE (A/L)

•             Min 10 years experience in similar capacity

•             Problem Solving & Good Interpersonal skills

•             Excellent command of English

Role:

•             Managing end to end transport requirements

•             Handling the procurement function and negotiating the best competitive rates with external suppliers effectively

•             Assuming responsibility for the overall direction and administration of the fleet

•             Ensuring all vehicles are maintained up to standard

•             Recommending and implementing new policies to the related field.

•             Facilitating and ensuring that training is provided for any new equipment/technology used.

•             Developing and leading an organized team capable of planning and executing day to day activities in a safe, professional, efficient and in a cost effective manner

•             Generating new ideas and identifying process improvements

•             Maintaining standardized policies to meet the requirements

•             Ensuring staff members comply with administrative policies and procedures

•             Providing monthly reports
