FINANCE & ADMIN ASSITANT
Key Responsibilities;
- Assist the Director of Finance and administration in preparing and maintaining relevant books of accounts.
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of relevant books of accounts, including monthly reconciliation of bank statements.
- Manage the office petty cash.
- Ensure that payment requests are adequately supported and comply with relevant financial rules, regulations, and procedures, taking into account budget provisions.
- Facilitate the signature of authorized officers on relevant documentation for payment, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of processed transactions.
- Maintain both hard and electronic records and files related to the finance function.
- Collaborate with the finance and admin team in preparing monthly and other regular financial reports.
- Procure goods and services needed for project implementation, consulting with the Program Director and Director of Finance and administration, and adhering to SDJF’s Procurement Policy.
- Provide support for the annual field audit preparation.
- Track all SDJF inventory and accurately record entries in the inventory file.
- Take responsibility for office supplies and ensure proper inventory management.
- Maintain and organize office documents and files.
- Perform any additional duties assigned by the Director of Finance & Administration.
